Yoga and movement are vital to maintaining the vigor and flexibility in our bodies. Wave Street Wellness offers morning, afternoon & evening yoga classes with a variety of teachers and styles. Classes are regularly scheduled to work with your personal routine. Movement classes offer more variety and support for becoming more active every day.

Instructors

 

Annette is a graduate of the University of California at Davis with a B.S. in Nutrition Science. She received a Masters in Health Services/Wellness Promotion from the California College of Health Sciences and completed a certificate program for the Treatment of Eating Disorders at John F. Kennedy University. She is certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) as a personal trainer and has over twenty years of experience in weight management and exercise programming. Annette is also certified as a Mat Pilates Instructor and is a professional member of the American College of Sports Medicine.
Casie is a Vinyasa Yoga teacher, with a foundation in dance and massage. She received her training from Paula Tursi and Peter Kaaberbol in Costa Rica, and has since then taught at every opportunity while traveling throughout Central America and Europe. As she now settles in to the Monterey Yoga community, she looks forward to sharing the thousand year old practice of yoga; uniting body, mind, and spirit.
She weaves her dance background, a playful attitude, and love of movement into every Yoga class. As a teacher she aims to create space for her students to explore what brings them joy, freedom, and strength in both their practice and their lives.
